Marion Bendory
Marion Bendory was born in Rishon Lezion. She is married, has three children, and ten grandchildren. Marion has been a self-employed lawyer since 1987. She was a partner in Biezer Bendory, an independent Law Office, until 1992, when she established her own firm.
Marion obtained her Master’s Degree in history and taught history in A. Karari High School in Rishon Lezion and De Shalit Secondary School in Rehovot. For more than ten years she trained teachers in the School of Education in Tel Aviv University, studied Law in Tel Aviv University and engaged as a legal intern in Law Office Sochovolski-Hartabi.
She completed general and family bridging courses, taught bridging in Bar Siach Bridging School in Beer Sheva and instructed bridging students in a practicum in Beer Sheva Regional Court.
Marion served as a member of the Women’s Council in the Rishon Lezion Municipality and as a judge in the Council for a Beautiful Israel. She was member of the Ramat Eliyahu Committee Elections Board on behalf of the Rishon Lezion Municipality, and served for many years on the Rishon Lezion Anti-Drug Association Audit Committee.
Marion was an important legal volunteer activist on the Committee of Rightful Owners in Nahcalat Yehuda, in legal proceedings against the Israel Land Administration, resulting in the residents’ victory.
She was nominated as a director on behalf of “Maan” – Women’s Trade and Industry Bureau in Israel.
